BAGHDAD / NINA / The leader of the Iraqiya coalition, Iyad Allawi hailed the National role of the clergies in promoting and consolidating the national unity and cohesion of the Iraqi people.
Allawi praised, during a meeting with Ayatollah, Hussein al-Sadr, the role of the clergies in maintaining the unity and cohesion of the people through reminding the people of the risks surrounding the country, stressing on the National role of Al-Sadr in the unity and cohesion of citizens.
For his part, al-Sadr praised Allawi's role in promoting and strengthening the national unity and his active and influential role in consolidating the relations among the national blocs in order to contribute effectively in building a unified Iraq able to stand against the enemies of Iraq. / End
