He said in a statement to the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA /: "The demands of the demonstrations, at the beginning, were legitimate, convincing and acceptable and some demands related to the government and others for the House of Representatives and even the government said they are legitimate, but the slow implementing led to outside intervention. "
He noted that: "The demonstrations began to be politicized to drag the street into a sectarian war through slogans launched by some of demonstrations' speakers that provoke sectarian strife and encourage sectarian fighting, which service internal and external parties."
Some provinces are witnessing demonstrations and sit-ins for more than two months, demanding to cancel the Justice and Accountability Law and Article 4 terrorism and the release of detainees as well as balance the state institutions. / End
