WTO send questions to complete the file requested Iraq to join

Centre for the Iraqi media network (IMN)-World Trade Organization sent a
set of queries and requests for the Ministry of Commerce to modify file
requested Iraq to join the organization.
The Director General of
the Ministry's economic relations Hashim Hatem (IMN) that "the
Organization sent a set of questions and requests to modify the file to
Iraq has joined," the most important detector the questions connected
with tariff schedules according to the harmonized system organization
consisting of ten numbers.
"We prepared tables within the
coordinated system was released in 2002 which consists of eight digits,
and requested the Organization to work on modern system consisting of
ten numbers which add two other tariffs."
"The Ministry is now
working with customs to modify tariffs according to the organization or
to continue on the old system", adding that "there is a response from
the relevant departments ' requests and questions.
The WTO
requires adherence to conventions and with the commitment of the State
wishing to accede to the signing of the Protocol of accession includes
approval of all WTO agreements.
According to the President of the
International Federation of businessmen Iraq Hamid punitive to the day
"there is the need for Iraq's accession to the World Trade Organization
for its significant advantages for the development of the national
economy and promote it."
