Ani: Talabani informed Allawi that tomorrow’s meeting will discuss Erbil agreement

Baghdad (NINA) – Head of the Coordinating Committee of the Iraqiya Slate, Dhafir Al Ani confirmed that “President Talabani informed Dr. Iyad Allawi, head of the Iraqiya Slate, that the next meeting for the political leaders due to be held on Monday, August 1st, will be dedicated to discuss the Erbil agreement and ways to implement it.
In a statement issued by Al Ani’s office “IS will attend the meeting and if it was doomed to failure, then, the State of Law Coalition bears the responsibility for it.”
“IS discussed during its last meeting a number of issues including the government’s program that was presented by PM Maliki,” he said, referring that IS thinks this program lacks lots of things important for citizens.
He went on saying “the IS will not vote on the current program in its current form and that it should be amended.”
