Iraq and the United States sign an agreement aimed at improving the level of transparency in the oil ministry
And signed the Iraqi Oil Ministry with the United States, represented by the U.S. Agency for International Development, on Sunday, a memorandum of understanding drawn frameworks support from the United States to the oil ministry in order to improve the effectiveness and transparency of its operations.
According to a statement of the U.S. embassy in Baghdad, was held the signing ceremony of a memorandum of understanding that in the embassy building in the presence of Director of Development and training Iraqi Oil Ministry feet Mohammad Reza, Mission Director USAID international Thomas Stahl.
The agreement provides support to the Ministry of Oil through the draft administrative reform called interdependence and funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development, in accordance with the principles of the Convention Strategic Framework signed between the United States and Iraq.
