Formation of a committee to compensate farmers in the border area between Iraq and Kuwait

Announced that the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers for the formation of a committee to estimate the value of agricultural yields per acre of farm located within the border region between Iraq and Kuwait for the purpose of compensating farmers contractors.
Statement of the Secretariat stated that the committee will be headed by the adviser to the governor of Basra for Administrative Affairs and representatives from the Ministries of Agriculture and Foreign Affairs as well as the relevant authorities in the province.
This Committee will raise its recommendations to the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers to take necessary action.
