Nijaifi, US official discuss Iraq's crisis

Baghdad (AIN) -The Iraqi parliament's Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, discussed with the US Secretary of State's Advisor, Brett Mkourk, Iraq's political crisis and the decision of postponing the local elections in Anbar and Nineveh provinces.
A statement by Nijaifi's office reported on Tuesday "Nijaifi received at his office the US Secretary of State's Advisor for Iraq's Affairs where they discussed the political crisis in Iraq and the issue of the current demonstrations in the country along with the decision of postponing the local elections in Anbar and Nineveh."
Nijaifi expressed his concerns on "The curent tensions in Iraq and the ramifications of the decision of postponing Anbar and Nineveh's local elections." /End/
