BAGHDAD / With: Electricity Department renewed its promises, Thursday, that the year "2013" will see the end of the electricity crisis, and that next summer will be better than its predecessor in terms of processing power.

"
The statement added, "it was the opening of the two converter stations in the province of Diwaniyah, will also be set up 35 transfer stations at a cost of $ 84 million in all provinces to address bottlenecks in the national grid as a result of increased loads."
He continued that "the purpose of the establishment of 35 stations to convert electrical energy in all the provinces, including two in the province of Diwaniyah, is to ensure that the distribution of energy on a regular basis," adding that "the cost of the project of 84 million dollars, and every station which will feed 14 residential neighborhood, to contribute reduce interruptions during the hours of processing due to increased loads, especially as we approach the summer, which increases consumption. "
He noted that "the ministry began to address file power transmission and distribution, the establishment of manufacturing plants which were distributed to the provinces, having fully completed the implementation of projects and programs production of electrical energy in the whole of Iraq."
Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, in (the first of April 2013 now), that will ensure the provision of electricity current year 2013 around the clock, stressing that Iraq still needs to expand Taakedath with international companies in order to provide electrical power. (END)
