" said Yasiri that "this law is the most important law for all of the water resources." mentions The Council of Ministers decided, in (June 4, 2011), to approve the formation of the National Council for Water headed by the Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki and the membership of the relevant authorities in order to activate the work of the Ministry of Water Resources and build a dam in the crater of the Shatt al-Arab, and strive to find solutions to the water crisis that has plagued Iraq As a result the riparian States from building dams and irrigation projects without consulting with Iraq.
