Finance Committee plans to host the central bank governor and agency to get to know the new policies of the Bank

{Baghdad: Euphrates News} confirmed member of the Finance Committee Magda Tamimi, the commission intends to host the Acting Governor of the Central Bank of Abdel Basset Turki to identify the policies of the new bank and how it can maintain the stability of the Iraqi dinar.
Said Tamimi told {Euphrates News} Wednesday that "the next few days will witness host Turkish to explain policies and new visions that will go by the bank because we have seen in the past few days, up to the dollar exchange rate against the Iraqi dinar, so you must know the reasons that led to this rise" .
He added that "we will frequent visits to the Central Bank and the government and private banks to be placed under the control of the Finance Committee."
It is noteworthy that the Iraqi Central Bank was established under the law issued on the sixth of March of the year 2004, as an independent body and is responsible for maintaining price stability and the implementation of monetary policy, including exchange rate policies and management of foreign reserves and the issuance of currency management, as well as regulate the banking sector to promote system competitive and financial independent.
