Kurdish ministers are not returning to Baghdad unless demands are met
13/04/2013 20:02:00
Baghdad (NINA) – Minister of Trade, Khairalla Babiker, said that Kurdish ministers and lawmakers are not returning to Baghdad unless a reply concerning the Region's demands is received from the National Alliance.

In a statement to the press on Saturday, Apr. 13, Babiker said that the meeting held by President Massoud Barazani with Kurdish ministers and leader of Kurdish blocs was devoted to discuss results of the visit by the Region's delegation to Baghdad and the talks with leader of the National Alliance.

He added that the delegation presented the Region's demands, which are implementing Article 140, review the Budget of 2013, dissolving Dijla Operations Command and withdrawal from Kurdish areas outside the Region, paying Peshmerga salaries, Oil and Gas Law, and other outstanding issues between the Region and Federal Government.

He pointed out that the National Alliance will answer the Kurdish demands via a delegation or a message.
