Falah Mustafa discuss with the representatives of the countries of the European Union the political situation in Iraq and the region

Arbbl (news) .. discussed the Chairman of the Department of External Relations of the Kurdistan Regional Government Falah Mustafa, the day Monday, with representatives of a number of Member States of the European Union accredited to the region, which included delegates from Germany, Britain, France, Italy, Poland, Romania and the Netherlands, the political situation in Iraq and the region.
A statement by the provincial government received the Agency (news) copy of it: that the meeting discussed the latest political developments in the Kurdistan region of Iraq and the region and the issue of holding the presidency and parliament in the region, in addition to the recent visit of a high level delegation from the region to the United States and relations between the Kurdistan Region and Turkey and the region's role in the success of the reconciliation process in Turkey.
With regard to holding the elections in the region, announced Falah Mustafa: The Kurdistan Regional Government is committed to holding these elections on time specific legal as stated in the message of the President of the Kurdistan Region Massoud Barzani, which falls on 21 September.
He pointed out: that the government of the region consider attentively to the steps taken during the recent dialogue in order to solve the problems and differences within the framework of the Iraqi constitution and the agreements concluded between the political parties, he said: that the return of ministers Kurds and the heads of Kurdish blocs from Baghdad to Arbil was aimed at counseling, and after meeting President the region with the deputies of the Kurds in Baghdad decided to send a high-level delegation to visit Baghdad and the resumption of dialogue and create a favorable prospects to address the problems of the political process in Iraq and the outstanding issues between the two sides.
With regard to relations between the Kurdistan Region and Turkey, Mustafa: that the doors of the Kurdistan region is open to the community guardian, and that the region wants to deepen bilateral relations with neighboring countries and the world on the basis of common interests, and as Turkey, one of the neighboring countries of the region, the strengthening of relations between the two sides comes in order to serve the Turkish people and the Iraqi people.
He praised Mustafa, the reconciliation process in Turkey, and announced: that the region welcomes all efforts that are in the direction of peace in that country, and is ready to provide all forms of cooperation in order to address the Kurdish issue in Turkey peacefully.
The meeting also discussed the situation in Syria and the refugee issue in the Kurdistan region, the official confirmed on Foreign Relations on the position of the Kurdistan region in ensuring a democratic system in Syria, which guarantees the protection of the rights of the Kurdish people and all the ingredients in Syria, which is the best solution to deal with the Syrian crisis, adding: that the percentage of refugees Syrian in Kurdistan witness increased day after day, calling on the international community to cooperate with the region to improve their living conditions and provide basic needs to them.
