12 billion dinars revenues border crossing points in the Kurdistan region for 4 months

BAGHDAD / Center Brief for the Iraqi Media Network ( IMN) - The parliamentary Finance Committee that revenue unofficial border crossings to the Kurdistan region amounted to 12 billion Iraqi dinars during the past four months.
A member of the Committee Secretary Hadi Abbas ( IMN) that "the majority of goods that enter through the border crossings of the territory does not match the specifications of customs and the environment and more materials finished expired and unfit for use."
He explained that "file customs is one of the important issues and key, which is supposed to be addressed between Baghdad and Erbil," and pointed out that "official reports indicate that the Kurdistan Regional Government received 12 billion of ports unlicensed and that, according to files and reports to the Commission."
The Information Office of the Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki said in a statement issued after a meeting of Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki and President of the Kurdistan Regional Government Nechirvan Barzani, the parties agreed to the adoption of important laws that have the effect of an active role in resolving "outstanding issues" between the two parties, such as oil and gas law, and further meetings to resolve all issues .
