Authority announced that national investment, on Wednesday, agreed with the Korean and American companies to build 100 thousand housing units in Iraq, out of a million units of the Investment Authority is seeking to implement them.
The head of the Sami Araji, the "National Investment Authority agreed with the Group of Companies Korean and American companies to build 100 thousand housing units in the area Altnoma in the province of Basra," noting that "the bargain in the present time with those companies in the most delicate designs for housing units with integrated structures infrastructure for it. "
Araji said that "the body also awarded many of the leaves of other investment, for a number of companies to build between 50 to 25 thousand residential units in various Iraqi provinces," noting that "the Commission is negotiating with companies sober in the construction of housing units, having made more than 140 a global company at a time prior to the construction of residential units in Iraq. "
He pointed out that "the Ministry of Construction estimated the need for Iraq to three million housing units to solve the housing crisis in Iraq," noting that "the body will be carried out million units through the investment of two million housing units will be implemented within the investment plan for 2010 -2014 set by the Ministry of Planning ".
And investment chief pointed out that "single-window did not work efficiently because they are linked to other ministries, and therefore, there are obstacles still working on a centralized basis and you need a long time to turn to a market economy."
