Iraq is heading to France and Japan to get gasoline instead of Iran

Baghdad/JD/... Oil industry sources said that Baghdad had resorted to total French Toyota Tsusho Corporation of Japan for gasoline after the Washington an Iranian company was supplying gasoline to Iraq in black list.

And general trading company especially provides gasoline to Iraq up to three consignments per month, representing about a quarter of what is now Iraq imports.

But in the middle of March, the US Treasury said the company is part of a network of front companies for the Iranian Government to work on behalf of blocked by bodies such as antratrid and nafteran company is a unit of the National Iranian oil company.

The sources added that Washington has persuaded Baghdad to halt this trade worth 40 million dollars at current prices, total, Toyota Tsusho will submit for sales from June until the end of the year. And would join a group of companies that supply to Iraq.

The British oil company has signed a giant BP signed an agreement with Iraq earlier to build a new pier in the port of Khor Al-Zubair South country in step with Iraq's use of visible world oil companies to update its infrastructure.
