Baghdad and Cairo announced that Egyptian Prime Minister Essam Sharaf will visit Iraq during the month of Ramadan.

He emphasized that "the meeting dealt with the second meeting of the Iraqi - Egyptian joint to be held in Baghdad in the near future, in addition to the settlement of Egyptian debts to Iraq and resolve the issue of remittances yellow of the Egyptian workers in Iraq." In Cairo, he announced the agreement of Baghdad and Egypt to close the file of indebtedness yellow and remittances pertaining to Egyptian workers in Iraq during the former regime, which will be allocated $ 408 million principal amount of remittances Yellow beneficiaries in the coming days.
