High Representative of EU foreign policy to visit Kurdistan to meet Barzani

Erbil (newsletter).The Kurdistan Regional Government Iraq declared that the High Representative for EU foreign policy Catherine Ashton will visit Kurdistan to meet with Kurdistan Regional President Massoud Barzani.
It said in a statement received (News Agency) a copy of: the Kurdistan Regional Government representative to the European Union assumed his post by اژكايي Delaware recently visited the Office of EU foreign policy in Brussels and met with Ambassador Christian birker Administrator General of the Middle East and North Africa and John ORC Iran and Iraq file administrator and the Gulf and his Deputy rozamaria Kelly and Vladimir yanask of the file listed in the Office of EU foreign policy.
The statement added: he discussed a number of issues of common interest between the European Union and Iraq and Kurdistan.
Ambassador birker said that Catherine Ashton, high representative of EU foreign policy will be visiting Kurdistan region, is scheduled to meet during the visit with President of Kurdistan, Massoud Barzani.
The statement said: the delegation of the Kurdistan regional government representatives during the meeting a number of important issues, including the issue of the definition of ginosayd people of Kurdistan by the European Union and the energy issue and Syrian refugees in Kurdistan, according to the statement.
And the representative of the Kurdistan Regional Government invited the EU to better attention to the cause of refugees, who number some 150,000 refugees, including 140,000 in Kurdistan.
Said Ambassador Christian birker: the EU Foreign Office looked with interest and seriously to this issue.
