Ki-moon announces nominating 5 figures to head UNAMI in Iraq

Baghdad (AIN) –The Secretary General of the United Nations, Ban Ki-moon, announced nominating five figures to head the United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq to replace its former head, Martin Kobler.
"The Kuwaiti new agency (KUNA) quoted the Iraqi Envoy to the UN, Mohammed al-Hakim, as saying "While meeting Ki-moon, he stated that there five figures to replace Kobler in heading the UNAMI," without identifying their identities.
According to the statement, Hakim described Kobler as "A very important person who served Iraq and the UN where we are sorry for him to leave Iraq," expressing his hope over "Nominating a similar person to Kobler." /End/
