[ltr]Baghdad/Obelisk called Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki on Monday, the dimensions of the political and other impacts on the medical profession being a humanitarian profession and stressed that the patient service is above all other considerations.[/ltr]
[ltr]It came during an inspection tour to the medical city and met with the medical and administrative staff, and the level of services provided to patients who are lying in hospital.[/ltr]
[ltr]Al-Maliki said in a statement "the Obelisk" copy that "many hospitals that were completed were still not completed technical or administrative reasons or because of corruption or for political reasons."[/ltr]
