Kurdistan Parliament approved, on Sunday, on the extension of the mandate of the President of Kurdistan, Massoud Barzani, to the verge of two years, also decided to extend the work of the parliament for another five months, and amend the Constitution of the Kurdistan region during this period.
And the relocation of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) for Prime Kurdish bloc in the Parliament of Kurdistan Susan Shihab said in remarks seen by the (long-Presse) it, "The Kurdistan Parliament approved in its meeting held, on Sunday, to extend the term of the Parliament of Kurdistan until the first of next November" .
The Shihab added that "Parliament stipulated that legislative elections next September 21," asserting, according to the site that "Parliament also agreed to extend the presidency of the Kurdistan region Massoud Barzani verge of two years up to 2015 may not be renewed."
The head of the Kurdish bloc showed that "it was agreed to amend the draft constitution of the Kurdistan region during this period."
