Iraqi legal expert said on Thursday that the Iraqi government is able to reverse the UN Security Council Resolution No. 833 of 1993 on the demarcation of land border between Iraq and Kuwait, provided that Iraq prove a turning part of his land to the Kuwaiti side.
Said Tariq Harb's "agency Kurdistan News," The UN Security Council resolution based on evidence of one party to the dispute did not send Iraq a timely manner of any committee to demarcate the Iraq-Kuwait border, pointing out that the UN Security Council Resolution No. 833 adopted on one side the absence of the Iraqi side.
He explained that according to the UN Security Council resolution, Kuwait was the view in the past on the part of the west side of Umm Qasr today it has become overlooking entirely on the western part and a section of the northern part, after the added areas of the south of Umm Qasr to Kuwaiti territory.
