Baghdad (NINA) – Official Spokeswoman of the Iraqiya Slate, Maysoun Al Damlouji, criticized statements of the State of Law Coalition members about the Strategic Policies Council, describing the statements as “evidence on the continuation of the unilateral policy and mentality to run the country.”
In a statement issued today, Damlouji declared that “the SLC statements come in a contradicting way to the agreements reached in the meeting of the political leaders which stressed the necessity of halting such statements, explaining that “members of the SLC started giving statements targeting the political accordance and national partnership that resulted from the Erbil agreement.”
MPs from the SLC called on parliament MPs not to approve the choice of chairman of the SPC through voting process in the parliament.
Disputes between the IS and SLC are escalating as IS members accuse SLC of not implementing the reached agreements especially regarding the SPC, while, the SLC accuses IS of disavowing their responsibilities as partners in the government unless they were talking about achievements of the government. /End/
