Omar Barzanji: give visa to all Lebanese want to invest in Iraq

Beirut, August 8 / August (Rn) - The Iraqi ambassador to Lebanon, Omar Barzanji Monday that the Iraqi government would be granted a visa for all Lebanese merchant wants to invest in Iraq.
He urged Iraq on several occasions, Arab businessmen to invest in land, confirming the existence of facilities that will attract a lot of them into the country and check the interest of both parties.
Barzanji said to reporters during a visit to the city of Tripoli in northern Lebanon, said the Iraqi government gave him the authority to grant the visa of all interested traders to invest in Lebanon, Iraq.
He declined a lot of investors are pumping money into projects in Iraq because of the violence that followed the fall of the former regime in the spring of 2003, and the political crisis that lasted most of 2010 to set up a new government is completed in December / December last year.
He noted the Iraqi ambassador to the need of coordination between the Chamber of Industry of Lebanon and their Iraqi counterparts to facilitate the work of investors and traders of the Lebanese to work in Iraq.

Barzanji met on his visit to Tripoli with a number of local officials and business and said that his visit "aims to develop relations with traders and businessmen in order to develop future plans for cooperation between Lebanon and Iraq."
He urged the Lebanese traders to invest in Iraq.
The total investment that the Iraqi government's target for this year $ 30 billion, mostly in the sectors of energy, housing and agriculture.
Iraq seeks to modernize its economy, especially after the signing of oil deals to increase its oil production to four times its current size, although the country's infrastructure is still crumbling after decades of war and sanctions.
