House of Representatives vote on the Law of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and finished reading the four laws and a report on the conditions of Diyala

House of Representatives voted in its eighth legislative term first legislative year fourth, which was held under the chairmanship of Osama Najafi, head of the House of Representatives and in the presence of 236 deputies today Thursday, 7.18.2013, on the draft law of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as well as an end to the first reading and the second of four laws and a report on the conditions of Diyala .
At the beginning of the meeting initiated by any of the Holy Quran the Presidency decided to postpone the vote on the draft contract law and treaties submitted by the Committee on Foreign Relations.
As the Presidency postponed voting on the proposed law on the Iraqi national anthem and the report of the Commission on Culture and Information to reach an agreement between the parliamentary blocs.
And completed the Council vote on the draft law of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and sponsored by the Foreign Relations Committee to strengthen the role of the Republic of Iraq in international and regional forums and in line with the Constitution and the legacy of civilization heritage of the Iraqi people and the need for a law to regulate the structure of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and enable it to achieve its objectives and carry out its responsibilities and the performance of its functions the best face.
After the Council ended the first reading of the draft law on ratification of the Convention on multimodal transport of goods between the Arab countries and submitted by the Committees on Foreign Relations and services, reconstruction and that comes based on the desire of the Republic of Iraq in promoting and organizing cooperation in the field of multimodal transport of goods and for close cooperation between the countries of the Arab League in economic affairs and finance, organize and facilitate the movement of goods between the territory.
On the other hand followed the parliamentary committee problem regarding the events in Diyala, a report which condemned all terrorist and criminal operations that targeted innocent people in the province stressing the importance contain the crisis and follow the ways that prevent sedition confirmed that the unity of Diyala, a key goal.
The Committee felt that the security situation in Diyala dangerous which requires the participation of committees on Security and Defense, clans and displaced persons in coordination with the Vice Diyala and governmental committee to prevent the deterioration of security and stay away from media statements that give rise to unrest, demanding commissioned a working group of the Office of the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces to oversee the security forces in Diyala as well as working on the return of displaced families and compensated and resorting to the judiciary.
In turn, stressed Mr. Najafi, the importance of cooperation between the parliament and the government to confront terrorism as a key issue for success, especially in Diyala, alluding to communicate with the Prime Minister during the past few days, pointing to the existence of the attention of government through the formation of a government committee on this matter.
After the Council voted on the introduction of parliamentary committees to coordinate with the State Committee for the supervision of calming the situation in Diyala.
On the other hand completed the second reading of the draft law on ratification of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Iraq and the Government of the State of Kuwait on the organization of maritime navigation in the Khawr Abd Allah and submitted by the Committee on Foreign Relations and Legal.
In the interventions of Representatives ladies and gentlemen MP Jawad Albzona, the breadth of discontent in Basra citizens of the injustice done to them because of agreements with Kuwait, noting that the Khawr Abd Allah waterway Iraqi side did not have any Kuwaiti participate in it.
The MP demanded reproach league not to pass a law that the Khawr Abd Allah historic entitlement, noting that Iraq has suffered from the Kuwaiti policies.
MP Hamid called Buffy to re-Convention while the interests of Iraq and bind all official bodies no agreements in the official languages of Iraq.
