President of the Parliamentary Legal Committee Khaled Huani, Saturday, to take the necessary recommendations on a number of laws, most notably the abolition of pension rights for the House of Representatives and freedom of expression, assembly and peaceful demonstration.

He said Huani in a press statement received "Awan" a copy of it, that "the Legal Committee parliamentary held on Saturday, an expanded meeting chaired by him to First Deputy Chairman of the House of Representatives Wasfi al-Suhail, discussed the draft laws and proposals referred to it, and has taken the necessary recommendations on them."

"We discussed the proposed law on the abolition of pension rights for members of the House of Representatives and provincial councils, and the draft law on freedom of expression and peaceful assembly and demonstration, in addition to the proposed law on the capital, Baghdad, and the proposed law of the Federation of Iraqi parliamentarians."

The Huani that the Committee also discussed the "Edit Code of Criminal Procedure No. 23 of 1971, and the bill the second amendment to the Law of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs No. 8 for the year 2006," he said, adding that he "was discussed the first amendment to the law of privileges judicial investigators No. 80 for the year 2012."
