IRAQ PARTICIPATES KUWAIT INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON OIL AND GAS FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE 1991

An official source at the Oil Ministry, on Wednesday, that the ministry will participate in the exhibition and an international conference on oil and gas, will be held in Kuwait in October next, pointing out that it is the first time that alleged Iraq Conference Kuwaiti related to the affairs of energy since 1991.
The source, who declined to be named, in an exclusive interview with "Awan", "The ministry will participate in the exhibition and conference which will be held from 7 October 10 next, at the invitation of the State of Kuwait, the first of its kind in this area since the year 1991" .
And that "the ministry conducted its preparations to participate in this event through the preparation of international research and studies related to the oil and gas industry, and how to develop the energy available in Iraq at the best ways, and according to recent scientific contexts internationally certified."
The source pointed out, that "the purpose behind the conference and exhibition, which will by the ministry in terms of projects and extraction filter, is to achieve the best practices in the industry, and display new technologies and innovative ideas and benefit from the experiences of other world."
The pace of relations between Iraq and Kuwait, over the past two years, has accelerated to settle belongings that existed between the two countries after the UN Security Council imposed judgments on Iraq compensation it paid to Kuwait, and 5 per cent of its imports of oil, amounting to $ 52 billion, would have gone Iraq paid year-end 2015.
