Parliament will discuss the government program during its 18th Wednesday
Follow-up - and babysit - a parliamentary source said on Tuesday that the Iraqi Council of Representatives will discuss during its 18-day Wednesday the government program in the presence of Minister of Education and Higher Education, Science and Technology, will also see the session first and second readings of a number of draft laws.
The source said in a press statement, "The agenda of the meeting of the Council of Representatives of the 18 that will be held on Wednesday, including a discussion of the government program with the Ministers of Education and Higher Education and Scientific Research, Science and Technology," noting that "the meeting will see the first reading of the bill seizure and confiscation of movable and immovable belonging to the former regime and liquidation. " The source, who requested anonymity, that "tomorrow's meeting will also see the first reading of draft law on ratification of the Republic of Iraq to the International Convention against the Taking of Hostages and the first reading the draft law to cancel the decision of the dissolved Revolutionary Command Council No. 196 of 1984." The source pointed out that "Parliament will discuss the first reading of a bill to recover funds Fund of Iraq and compensations as well as the second reading of draft law on first amendment to the Customs Tariff Act No. 22 of 2010."
