Oil: resume pumping gas to power plants during the next two days
Baghdad - and babysit - The Oil Ministry announced the resumption of pumping gas to power plants during the next two days, the day after the blaze, which broke out in the carrier pipe gas from fields in Kirkuk, Baiji.
The Information Office of the Ministry of Oil in a statement Saturday that "technical and engineering teams in the North Oil Company and oil pipelines and chock bodies with them on Friday were able to extinguish the fire, which broke out in the carrier pipe gas from fields in Kirkuk to Baiji."
He added that "the pipeline are presented in the third hour and a half at dawn on Friday in an area located 60 km southwest of the city of Kirkuk to the explosion resulted in a fire in it, which led to stop pumping gas to oil installations and power plants."
He pointed out that the technical and engineering teams rushed to the scene to rehabilitate the pipeline and repair the affected parts and find out the cause of the accident.
The statement pointed out that "it is hoped that the resumption of pumping is carried out within a period of two to three days" ... p / i
