Mahmoud Othman said "tomorrow", "Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki's nomination for a third term is not addressed within the Kurdistan Alliance bloc", noting that "too early for a position like this, but the view of the Chairman of the bloc in the Parliament Fouad Massoum is personal opinion and does not represent the opinion of the Kurdistan Alliance bloc".
Maliki relationship termed the Kurdish leaders "as they pass the stages of ascent and descent", pointing out that "the Constitution is clear in this regard because it stipulates that the largest bloc in the elections, coalitions are prime candidates.
The local media quoted President of the Kurdistan Alliance bloc in Parliament Fouad Massoum as saying that the bloc is not opposed to Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki took the third term the Constitution not only prohibits the President from holding a third session and did not apply to the Prime Minister and the speaker of the House, but noted that a constitutional amendment was needed to clear the House of representatives.
