Foreign Ministry dismisses the second secretary at the Iraqi Embassy in Riyadh

BAGHDAD / NINA / Foreign Ministry announced the dismissal of the second secretary at the Embassy of Iraq in Saudi Arabia Ma'ad al-Obeidi "for his lack of policy and instructions of the ministry in dealing with the media and his involvement in remarks offensive to a large component of Iraqi people."
A statement of the Foreign Ministry said "the ministry has taken immediate action to call Obeidi to investigate him on his irresponsible and bad media statements that he made to a Saudi's newspaper, which he talked in a number of things that relate to the Iraqi society, which is considered a violation to his duties and the work that he assigned to."
It is mentioned that the Saudi's newspaper (al-Sharq) attributed to Iraq's deputy ambassador in Riyadh Ma'ad al-Obeidi as saying that "Shiism is a Jewish political movement initiated by Yemeni Abdullah bin Saba in cooperation with the Persians to tear the unity of Islam ." / End
