A source at the Iraqi List, for providing three new candidates to the Ministry of Defence of the National Accord Movement, led exclusively by the head of the list by Iyad Allawi.
The source said, told all of Iraq [where] on Wednesday said: "The Iraqi List, agreed at its meeting yesterday to submit three names for new candidates to fill the position of the Ministry of Defense."
"The three candidates are Hamid Dawoud al-Obeidi, Medhat al-Obeidi and Loay Naji Tbakjla been nominated for the position exclusively affiliated to the Accord coalition, the Iraqi List led by Iyad Allawi, head of the list"
The MP for the Iraqi List, Iskandar, Tut, said in statements to [where] that "the Iraqi List, a candidate for the position of the Ministry of Defence will be exclusively from the Accord Movement, led by Iyad Allawi, head of the list."
The security ministries are vacant because of an incompatibility of the political blocs on the names of candidates for those ministries that currently run by the Acting Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki.
And leaders of political blocs agreed at the meeting held under the auspices of President Jalal Talabani on Tuesday to provide the Iraqi National Alliance for their candidates for the ministries of security during the period of two weeks.
Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki has been nominated both of Tawfiq al-Ministry of the Interior, Saadoun al-Dulaimi, the Department of Defense, Riad Ghraib, Homeland Security, but this nomination is not accepted some of the political blocs, especially the Iraqi considered the nomination of al-Dulaimi, a coup against the agreement Erbil / End 2 - r
