Baghdad (AIN) –The Ministry of Interior declared the formation of a supreme investigation committee composed of its senior officers to investigate the assassinations took place in Basra and Dhi-Qar provinces.
The Ministry of Interior reported in a statement received by AIN on Sunday ”The Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki, instructed the MoI to form a supreme committee to assume investigating the circumstances of recent assassinations that took place in Basra and Dhi-Qar provinces in order to expose the sides behind these crimes.”
”The available evidences refer that there are certain sides work under sectarian motives involved in the assassination operations and the investigation committee will announce its results as soon as it finished in order to punish the criminals who killed the innocent Iraqi people,” the statement added. \END\
