Barzani's party intends to form a coalition government

Arbil / NINA / The Kurdistan Democratic Party, led by President of Kurdistan, Massoud Barzani, confirmed that it intends to form a coalition government capable of addressing the tasks and challenges facing the region.
Shirzad Qasim, a member of the party told the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA /: "The preliminary results of the parliamentary elections in Kurdistan confirms that / KDP / obtains lion's share of the vote, which enable it to form a majority government, but we are determined to form a coalition government that includes everyone. "
About the desire of the Change Movement to engage in the new government formation, Qasim said: "We do not object the participation of the Movement in the next government."
He continued, "The Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP), although advancing preliminary results of the elections, but we will insist on forming a coalition government."
The unofficial preliminary results of the parliamentary elections of the Kurdistan region has shown progress of the Kurdistan Democratic Party followed by the opposition the Change Movement while the National Union led by President Jalal Talabani came third. / End
