BAGHDAD / NINA / MP, of the Iraqiya coalition, Haider al-Mulla asked the House Speaker Osama al-Nujaifi to put the proposed elections' law to vote at the meeting on Monday as agreed upon by the political blocs and close the door in front of imposing wills.
Mulla said in a statement to the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / "The past few weeks have seen discussions among the political blocs on the election' law resulted in the consensus on major issues."
He added, "If one bloc imposes new conditions, it means that we will emerge from the case of compatibility to imposing wills."
It is hoped that the House of Representatives will vote tomorrow on the election' law, which has been postponed several times for failure to get consensus between the political blocs around it, and continued disagreement on some of its paragraphs.
The dispute mainly revolves on the mechanism of elections; whether close or opens list and electoral constituency as well as compensatory seats. / End
