Baghdad/ NINA /-- Russian Embassy in Baghdad would hold on next Sunday, a press conference to explain the events of the Iraqi school in Moscow.
The press attache at the embassy Sergei Tsherkassof said in a statement today , " The press conference will be under the auspice of ambassador Elia Murgunov to explain the reasons and the implications of the events of the Iraqi school in Moscow.
The Russian authorities have detained on the fourth of this month, a number of diplomats working at the Iraqi Embassy in Moscow within the school building there under the pretext that the Iraqi school ownership is of the Russian authorities and not of the Iraqi government.
A diplomatic source from inside the embassy in Moscow said in a phone interview with NINA : " The Cultural Counselor at the Iraqi Embassy in Russia , and eight of diplomats , including the second person in the embassy, the first secretary ,the second secretary, the deputy cultural attaché and cultural adviser at the Embassy.
