Threatened the President of Kurdistan, Massoud Barzani, to boycott the upcoming parliamentary elections in the event of the adoption of the electoral law which was the old Parliament elections in 2010.
Barzani said during a meeting with a number of managers offices Iraqi channels and Arabic in Kurdistan that "the election law the old failed and bad and unfair, and we saw that Iraq will be a single electoral constituency," adding, "We will boycott the upcoming parliamentary elections, if held by the old law."
He said the "old law had previously agreed to a single electoral cycle to solve all outstanding problems and delusional Census and Article [140] of the disputed areas."
The head of the House of Representatives Osama Najafi has announced today the resort to the old election law in the event of continuing differences between the political blocs on the amended proposal.
