Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) -MP Ali Shubbar of the parliamentary Citizen bloc, associated to the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council revealed about current negotiations being conducted between the SIIC and some blocs within the Iraqi National Alliance to take part in the upcoming provincial elections in one slate.
Shubbar told IraqiNews.com that “There are dialogues and meetings between the SIIC and the State of Law Coalition headed by the Premier Nouir al-Maliki and the National Reform Trend headed by Ibrahim al-Jaafary to discuss the political crisis and confer about creating an alliance concerning the participation in the next local elections.”
