MP assures rights of Iraqis abroad in participating in upcoming elections

Baghdad (AIN) –MP, Safiya al-Suhial, member of the Foreign Affairs Parliamentary Committee assured that the Iraqis abroad have the right to participate in upcoming parliamentary elections.
Suhail stated to AIN ”The Iraqi Parliament did nor neglect the constitutional right of Iraqis abroad to elect their representatives and they have the right in granting their votes within legislative elections.”
”The law did not indentified the mechanism that will be adopted in the elections abroad and the Independent High Electoral Commission IHEC to organize the mechanism of elections abroad to avoid any problems,” she concluded.
