Search the Minister of Planning / Minister of Finance Agency Prof. Dr. Ali Yousef Shukri with the Director of the World Bank in the Middle East Fred Belhadj, the relationship between the Iraqi government and the World Bank in terms of building human capacity for cadres working in the banks of the Iraqi government as part of the restructuring of the banking institutions ..
This came at the reception Excellency Mr. Belhadj at the headquarters of the Ministry of Planning and the two sides discussed during the meeting, a number of common issues and reviewed the Minister and the reality of Iraqi banks that are in dire need of development in various fields, particularly in Maitalq capacity development and the introduction of electronic systems of modern ...Indicating that the Ministry of Finance has adopted a new plan based on expansion of the open more branches of the bank Rafidain and Rasheed inside and outside Iraq .. He pointed out that the new branch was opened in Europe in the Romanian capital Bucharest and another in the United Arab Emirates and our efforts to open a new branch in Malaysia and Brazil
He pointed out that His Excellency the Minister of Finance and the Ministry strives to implement the customs tariff law before the end of this year and will start with luxury goods such as electrical appliances, alcoholic beverages, tobacco and so on .. Pointing out that the application of the law will be initially manually pending the completion of the preparation of the integrated electronic system by taking advantage of the experiences of other countries and programs in this area
And His Excellency the Minister stressed that these meetings with the Director of the World Bank in the Middle East is to have continuous meetings we talked about not only Ttoiralmassarv but human capacity building in the two aspects of project management and the financial side schematic side .. Indicating that today we have a crisis in human capacity The development of this capacity needs to be human base by physical latter available, but there are shortcomings in the rule of human as is the case in the schematic Bjanabih the central and local governments is needed to the World Bank in terms of building human capacity and we have agreed to prepare programs in this area and will see such projects between the World Bank and the Iraqi government to build human capacity soon
For his part, the Director of the World Bank in the Middle East for a unique Belhadj high appreciation for the attention of His Excellency the Minister to develop and strengthen Iraq's relationship with the World Bank .. Indicating that this relationship is a long-standing relationship, strong and sturdy .. He stressed the keenness of the World Bank to support projects of all kinds, whether Iraq at the level of funding and this is not the foundation but the foundation is to build human capacity and this project will be a key project in the interaction between the Iraqi government and international such as the World
