British officials assure importance of Anti Corruption Day

Baghdad (Forat) –The British Foreign Minister, William Hague, the International Support for the Anti-Corruption, Ken Clarcke and the Minister of the International Development, Josten Kraing, issued a statement over the importance of the Anti Corruption Day.
A statement received by Alforat News Agency (Forat) cited "Reducing the Corruption rate and increasing the transparency are vital issues to achieve the stability and the international prosperity where 2013 witnesses the tenth anniversary of endorsing the UN Anti-Corruption Pact which is one of the standards that encourages the international communities to support it."
"Hague stated that reducing the corruption rate and increasing the transparency are priorities of the current government where we headed the Eight-group Committee and the UN conducted a historical agreement to support the taxing transparency," the statement added.
The statement quoted Clarcke, as saying "As being the supporter of Anti Corruption within the UK, I wish to increase the exerted efforts who try to exploit corruption and bribe in the UK and I am proud that the government submitted the bribe law."
"For her part, the DFID has suitable programs to help dealing with the corruption issues in addition to the misuse of the public fund where the DFID finances specialized unities in London police and since 2006 more than 100 Million Pounds Sterling were seized," the statement concluded. /End/
