Parliamentary Energy Committee: Dialogues to settle oil pending issues between CG, KRG

Baghdad (Forat) –MP, Ali al-Fayadh, of Oil and Energy Parliamentary Committee expressed his optimism over reaching a settlement between the Central Government and the Kurdistani Regional Government concerning the disputes related to oil sector between them.
He stated to Alforat News Agency "The dialogue will be positively fruitful and will completely settle disputes."
"The dialogues are based on article 111 and 112 which authorizes the CG to set the strategic plans in oil sector in coordination with the Provinces and Regions," he added.
"Identifying the authorities according to the constitution will prevent future violations and end the disputes," he concluded. /End/
