Barham Salih denies agreement on his leadership for PUK in Tehran

Shafaq News / The second deputy secretary- general of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) , Barham Salih announced on Wednesday that the news that talked about the goal of the visit of a joint delegation from PUK and Kurdistan Democratic party (KDP) was to make an agreement among the figures of the Union and this is false.
“There had been no agreement between PUK and KDP figures, noting that the next conference will resolve the issues of the party ,” a statement of Saleh said received by “Shafaq News”.
Kurdish press reports announced yesterday that the aim of the visit of the Joint delegation from PUK and KDP to Tehran is to arrange the internal affairs of the Union.
The news noted that it was agreed among the three wings of the party , Barham Saleh, Kesert Rasool and Hiro Ibrahim Ahmed that Saleh would be the first person with the remain of President Jalal Talabani as secretary-general of the party, While Saleh will choose two deputies, one of whom is the son of the secretary-general , Qobad Talabani and give one of Rasool’s sons , the membership of the Political Bureau of the Union.
