Minister for women: Cabinet approves allocation of 75 jobs to the provincial women's offices

Minister of State for women's Affairs ibtihal kasid zaidi, on Wednesday, the Cabinet approved the request of the Ministry of State for women's Affairs to allocate functional levels of the provincial women's offices in local governments within the budget in 2014.
Al-zaidi said after a cabinet meeting for "time", "the Board agreed to allocate 5 functional of each Office in the 15 governorates, within the general budget in 2014."
"The Ministry has made many efforts to develop women's offices in the provinces in order to strengthen coordination with local governments and connect with women, and had already sent letters to the local governments to take part in the advancement of women in the provinces, the financial budget for special programmes, most recently reaffirmed the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers.
The "most provinces apologized for opening offices in the absence of functional scores, which prompted the Ministry to redouble its efforts to obtain degrees under budget."
Al-zaidi said that "these offices will assist the Ministry in the implementation and follow-up of programmes in the provinces, that will guide the programs each province towards the needs of women and close the gender gap."
The 2014 budget provided for the priority given to widows and divorced women in job openings for all government institutions.
