Parliament announces reaching a formula to pass the pension law

Shafaq News / The Parliament announced on Thursday, reaching agreement to pass the pension law , noting that the law would be included in the agenda in the next meetings .
“The agreement was reached in the Finance Committee on Thursday to pass the consolidated public pension law ,” The decision maker of the Council , Mohammed al-Khalidi said at a news conference attended by " Shafaq News “.
He added that the law will be submitted to vote in the upcoming meetings of the Council .
The Parliamentary Finance Committee announced , last Tuesday that it will not send the pension law currently to the presidency of the parliament due to the arrival of more than 400 notes from the rest of the political blocs , as revealed talks with the National Commission for retirement to re-launch a grant of 100 000 dinars.
The Council of Ministers announced on 3 September 2013, the approval of the Council on the Unified Retirement Law and explained that under the new law , the minimum pension will be not less than 400 000 dinars.
