Indian University signs MoU with Iraq

India’s Desh Bhagat University has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Iraq.
While welcoming the Iraqi delegation, chancellor of the university Zora Singh (pictured) said that the aim of this educational exchange programme was to provide opportunities to the students and faculty of both countries to interact with each other on important international economic, social, cultural and educational issues.
According to the report from the Hindustan Times, the Joint Secretary for Education, PMO, Hussain Taher Naser said that this MoU would strengthen the relations between both countries and students of both sides will get a chance to learn.
A cultural programme was also arranged on the occasion, in which university students performed bhangra and giddha.
