The Federal Government has decided to send the salaries of the month of February to the Kurdistan region.
The Kurdistan Regional Government has said that the federal government in Baghdad have not received salaries of employees of the Kurdistan region for the month of January last, which led to delayed delivery of staff salaries.
The trade minister said the federal government for the province of Kurdistan Khairallah Hassan Babiker in a press statement, said that "the Federal Cabinet decided during its meeting held on Tuesday, 02/11/2014, sending the salaries of the month of February to the Kurdistan region."
And between Babacr "We do not know yet you will be sent to the salaries of the coming months to the Kurdistan region or not, because we are waiting for further meetings between the Kurdistan region and the federal government."
It is said that Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance Kurdistan Rashid Tahir, said that the delay in sending salary is beyond the control of Baghdad, is the other problem, though generally at the level of Iraq.
And that "the main reason for not sending the salary is to keep money in the bank, which opened a U.S. bank account in Iraq and this has created a problem for the whole of Iraq." Ended
