Failed negotiations between the governments in Baghdad and Erbil on the outstanding issues between the two parties.
According to a source familiar with told all of Iraq [where] today that "the Kurdish delegation Msthompsk demands on the export of the region's oil through Turkey and go the money to the treasury rejected the terms of the federal government on the export of oil through the SOMO and other points that have been developed in advance."
"The delegation ended the talks after failing to reach an agreement and left to Arbil."
The talks were held in two rounds today between a delegation from the Federal Government headed by Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Hussain al-Shahristani and a delegation from the province of Kurdistan, headed by the President of the provincial government Barzani mandated by Baghdad and Erbil on ending the differences that exist between the two parties, notably the budget in 2014 and the export of oil to Turkey.
The delegation arrived in the region this afternoon to the capital Baghdad from Erbil met upon arrival with Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki.
It is said that the delegation includes Deputy Chairman of the Kurdistan regional government Imad Ahmed and Chairman of the Presidium of the region, Fouad Hussein, Minister of Natural Resources Ashti Hawrami, Minister of Planning Ali Sindi and Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance Rashid Tahir and provincial government spokesman Sven Dzia.
