BAGHDAD / NINA / MP for al-Ahrar bloc Bahaa al-Araji said on Thursday 27 Feb. that House Speaker Osama Nujaifi will meet Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki after returning from a visit to Erbil, to brief him on the discussions with the leadership of the Region.
Al-Araji told the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / that Nujaifi’s visit to the Kurdistan region came upon the authorization of the heads of political blocs , who met with him in order to finally resolve the standoff between the federal government and the Regional government .
Araji said that the crisis of the public budget is artificial and will not be solved but with sincere intentions by the two parties.
The head of the House of Representatives Osama Nujaifi arrived today to the city of Erbil to discuss the differences between Baghdad and Erbil on the general budget of the country
