Demands to stop regional intervention

BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: Tens of Iraqis demonstrated today in Tahrir square in the center of the capital, Baghdad, calling to stop "regional" intervention in Iraqi internal affairs.
An Aswat al-Iraq correspondent reported that the demonstrators called on the government to stop regional intervention, particularly from Iran and Kuwait, as well as any violations of Iraqi territorial waters and termination of foreign presence on Iraqi soil.
*****The correspondent pointed out that the demonstration contained calls "to political entities to end their differences, work for better services, termination of unemployment and corruption." *****
Others demanded the release of innocent detainees.
