Shahristani meets with a delegation from Malaysia's PETRONAS

BAGHDAD / NINA / Deputy Prime Minister for Energy, Hussain al-Shahristani discussed with a delegation from Malaysia's PETRONAS , headed by Executive Director, Anwar Tayyib ways to develop the level of work in the field of oil and gas projects implemented by the company in the Iraq.
A statement by Shahristani office cited today , " al-Shahristani said, during the meeting, that the government is ready to overcome all the obstacles facing the company in the areas of its business , calling on other Malaysian companies to enter Iraqi market to implement projects of oil and gas and other fields.
For its part, the delegation appreciated Shahristani positions in overcoming the obstacles facing foreign companies operating in Iraq , promising to make more efforts to increase the production of Garraf field as soon as possible .
